Job summary

SUTL Marina Development Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hospitality events professional to drive weddings and corporate functions for the Club. You will sell events, identify new clientele and coordinate menus, with close collaboration across departments to ensure flawless execution.

The role requires a degree or diploma with 2 years in hospitality or catering, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while delivering outstanding service to guests.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma with 2 years' relevant hospitality/catering experience.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal qualities.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines with good organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales of weddings, social events, seminars and meetings to maximize Club revenue.
• Identify, pursue and generate new clientele.
• Assist with menu planning and maintain contact with active accounts for repeat business.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth event execution.
• Prepare BEOs, manage enquiries, bookings and confirmations.
• Prepare catering forecasts and reports.
• Monitor costs and support budgeting processes.
• Source and coordinate with vendors for event requirements.
• Plan and execute wedding shows and promotions.
• Conduct site inspections for prospective clients.
