Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking a Senior/Equipment Engineer to maintain equipment reliability, improve efficiency, and support capacity upgrades on CVD tools. The role focuses on reducing downtime and costs while ensuring safe, compliant operation in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will analyze failures, perform preventive plans, drive retrofits, and update MDMS with best practices. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/com etc. engineering required.
• 3+ years' direct experience with CVD equipment and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of SACVD tools: AM SACVD, Centura HDP, DxZ.
• Proven track record of reducing downtime and costs.
• Familiar with RA, 8D, Ishikawa and FMEA methodologies.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Independent, fast learner with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Equipment Reliability—conduct maintenance to ensure performance.
• Equipment Efficiency Improvement—analyze failures and plan corrective actions.
• Equipment Capacity Support—assist capacity upgrades and retrofits.
• Equipment Cost Reduction—plan and implement cost-saving projects.
• Update MDMS to document best practices.
