Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support wafer fabrication tools. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, operate and monitor equipment, calibrate and repair semiconductor systems, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will read schematics, diagnose issues, install and configure equipment, and keep detailed service records while collaborating with process, maintenance and quality teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
High school diploma with substantial relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines to ensure reliable performance.
System operation: Operate and monitor equipment and systems to ensure they function optimally.
Calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic semiconductor equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with semiconductor equipment.
Install and configure semiconductor equipment.
Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Safety and compliance: Follow safety procedures and ensure all work meets quality standards.
Documentation: Keep detailed records of all service performed.
