Job summary

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited seeks an AVP, Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our building and international office networks. You will ensure stability, security, and performance while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will lead design and deployment of LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi networks, automate operations with Python/Ansible/Terraform, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information tech, or related field.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, enterprise networks; financial institution preferred.
• Strong design and operation knowledge of OSPF, BGP, IPSec, LISP, VXLAN, 802.1x, STP.
• Routing, switching, security gateways, wireless technologies expertise.
• CCNP/CCIE/CCDE, HCIP/HCIE or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Hands-on with network automation tools, orchestration platforms, and monitoring.
• Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bash or PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and absorb large amounts of information quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize LAN/WAN/Wireless across buildings, domestic and international branches.
• Ensure stability, security and performance of bank network infrastructure.
• Review and implement changes across network technologies per standards and needs.
• Lead fault investigation, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external security regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align services with business needs.
• Automate operations using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or scripting.
• Deliver network projects per bank standards.
• Manage vendors/partners for timely delivery; mentor junior engineers.
