Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (AVP level) to lead the operations, lifecycle management, and automation of modern software-defined network environments within a secure, scalable enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and continuous improvement across the network domain.

The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise networking experience, strong automation skills, and a track record of delivering robust network solutions in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale enterprise networking environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.
• Certifications (preferred) such as industry-standard networking certs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day network operations and ensure service stability.
• Maintain network uptime in line with SLA targets.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex issues across the network.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous service improvement.
• Own end-to-end network lifecycle management, including patching and maintenance.
• Develop automation solutions using scripting (e.g., Python) and APIs.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
