Job summary

SMBC Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect to define architecture, design principles, and governance for enterprise AI solutions across Asia Pacific. Responsibilities include translating prioritized business use cases into secure, scalable, and production-grade AI solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in enterprise AI, architecture governance, and delivering secure, compliant AI in regulated banking environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technology/solution architecture experience, preferably in banking/regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to define enterprise design principles and reference architectures.
• Experience delivering AI solutions with responsible AI, security, and compliance in mind.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI architectures for enterprise use cases leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio, Foundry, and Azure OpenAI.
• Establish governance, design principles, and guardrails for AI agents and RAG systems.
• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and risk assessments with cross-functional teams.
• Define build-versus-buy decisions and technology selection for regulated environments.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable AI-enabled solutions across APAC.
