Job summary

CECOM PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from award through installation, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating with customers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, supervising site activities, and controlling costs and risks across multiple projects. Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, construction, installation, or commissioning.
• Experience in site installation and commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects by planning, scheduling, and allocating resources to meet milestones and deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PTW requirements, and company procedures.
• Lead engineers, supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain operations.
• Conduct project meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, cost updates, schedules, and management reports.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, construction, installation, or commissioning.
• Experience in site installation and commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
