Job summary

MINE ITS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the FM team across client sites, ensuring 24/7 coverage and adherence to safety policies. You will manage daily operations, coordinate repairs and projects, and maintain documentation and reports for the client and stakeholders.

In this role you will drive continuous improvement, oversee subcontractors, and ensure service levels, contractual obligations, and professional image are upheld at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and direct support, delivering best practices in selection and training.
• Deliver effective business communication through leadership and reporting in meetings, briefs, correspondence and monthly/ad-hoc reports.
• Develop working relationships with MINE ITS staff and client representatives.
• Ensure customer focus and SLA/KPI compliance within the SOW, with proper record retention.
• Lead management activities and develop procedures, fostering strong client relationships and high service standards.
• Plan ahead, manage daily field work, communicate issues to stakeholders and monitor performance of staff.
• Maintain and update documentation including as-built drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Keep subcontractor accounts and documentation current monthly.
• Manage repairs and projects within data centres or on site as required.
• Implement controls to meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
• Act as point of contact during major events or escalations at specified sites.
• Support business continuity plans as needed by the team.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across clients and MINE ITS and subcontractors.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring/coaching and direct support, where applicable deliver best practice in selection and training.
• Deliver effective business communication through leadership and contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, correspondence, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other as appropriate.
• Develop effective working relationship with all members of MINE ITS's staff and the Client representatives.
• Ensure customer focus within all areas of operational activities and relationships are maintained with key client contacts. Ensuring contractually agreed SLA's and KPI's within the Scope of Works (SOW) are met and necessary record retention demonstrating adherence.
• Effectively lead management related activities including regular management meetings development of operational procedures fostering of good relationships with the client providing services of the highest standards.
• Ensure ahead work planning, manage ground daily work activities, communicate work issues to key stakeholders and measure MINE ITS performance at completing work on time and the performance of the staff.
• Comprehend, analyse, interpret documentation. This include developing, maintaining and updating of relevant documentation, as-built drawings and schematic diagram.
• Ensure all accounts and documentation associated with these subcontractors is current and up to date on a monthly basis.
• Manage and deliver repairs and project works, as required, within the data centre or specified site.
• Ensure appropriate control systems are in place to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
• Ensure all subcontractors deliver a quality and competent service and all contractual obligations are met.
• Be the point of contact during significant events/incidents or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring within the specified sites.
• Participate in any business continuity plans the team may be involved in, as necessary.
• Ensure healthy and safety working conditions that both clients and MINE ITS health and safety policies and processes implemented effectively across to MINE ITS and subcontractors' activities and are regularly reviewed.
• Ensure all absence and coverage by suitably trained and experienced staff to ensure full 24/7 coverage.
• Create on the job learning environment by providing appropriate training and development planning and implemented for each member of FM staff. Ensure basic training needs are deliver, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach full potential.
• Ensure post holders are fully competent, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place and monitoring of staff retention rates.
• Reach out and consult with peers and superiors to ensure consistency across the accounts and compliance with client standards and best practice.
• Produce site related activity and other statistical information and reports as requested. Provide input into regular management reports and submissions.
• Promote and maintaining the core Values of MINE ITS.
• Ensure professional image of MINE ITS presented to clients and visitors at all times.
• Comply and adhere to all regulated protocol and/or Company's rules and regulation.
• Perform and manage other duties at time assigned by management team.
