Job summary

Facade Today in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Data Centre Technician to maintain and monitor data centre systems and support ongoing operations.

You will perform daily walkthroughs, handle faults, assist shift leads, respond to service requests, and ensure safety and quality policies are followed, including incident reporting and compliance with environmental guidelines.

Role requires on-site work at the Data Centre with potential overseas travel as needed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive, professional relationships with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests promptly
• Respond to emergency calls during shift work
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily DC walkthroughs to record faults and report M&E equipment
• Run daily routine checks to ensure no environmental issues and all critical M&E systems are healthy
• Keep the DC clean and safe; oversee work by subcontractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead with briefing and handover for outstanding issues
• Prepare incident and field service reports and filings
• Adhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Comply with site policies and guidelines
• Travel overseas for work as required by supervisor
• Other duties as reasonably requested by supervisor

Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls (during shift work)
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily walkthrough of DC to record and report any faults or defects detected and take down record of M&E equipment
• Conduct daily routine checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E related systems are in good working condition
• Ensure that the DC is clean, free from debris and safe work practices are being carried out during installation work / routine maintenance / repair of equipment by SubContractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead during Briefing and handover to incoming shift team on outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead / Assistant Manager / Manager
• Incidents and field service reporting and filing
• Adherence to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Comply to site required policies, guidelines and practices
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
