Job summary

Keppel Data Centres in Singapore is seeking a diligent Data Centre Technician to support daily operations and ensure reliable data centre performance. You will maintain DC systems, conduct routine checks, and respond to service requests and emergencies within a shift pattern.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and the on-site team to keep facilities clean, safe, and fully functional.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls (during shift work)
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily walkthrough of DC to record and report any faults or defects detected
• Take down record of M&E equipment
• Conduct daily routine checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E related systems are in good working condition
• Ensure that the DC is clean, free from debris and safe work practices are being carried out during installation work / routine maintenance / repair of equipment by SubContractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead during Briefing and handover to incoming shift team on all outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead / Assistant Manager / Manager
• Incidents and field service reporting and filing
• Adherence to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Comply to site required policies, guidelines and practices
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
• In the event there are substantial changes to the main duties and responsibilities as set out herein (for example, in cases of secondment, transfer or promotion), the Company will communicate such changes to you in writing
