Job summary

ENGIE Group in Singapore seeks an experienced ACMV Facilities Manager/Senior Manager to oversee maintenance programs and lead a team of technicians across chiller, DX, and ventilation systems. You will liaise with clients, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and drive energy efficiency improvements while maintaining strict safety standards.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management.
  • Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
  • Good communication skills and positive mindset.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, self-disciplined, well-organised; and
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works.
  • Ensure maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
  • Oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems (chillers, chilled water, DX, ventilation, clean room, negative/positive pressure, BMS).
  • Advise and lead technical investigations for rectifications.
  • Ensure daily AC thermal comfort within code of practice.
  • Track & report maintenance work; follow up on actions; maintain checklists and schedules.
  • Implement efficiency improvements on operational processes and energy conservation.
  • Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure maintenance programs are compliant.
  • Provide ACMV technical specs for upgrades or renovations when required.
  • Familiar with local codes of practice including ASHRAE standards.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely per safety procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification and ad-hoc works.
  • Investigate, analyze, and report breakdowns and faults; prepare technical reports.

Job description

  • Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works
  • To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a Team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
  • Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems, including chiller system, chilled water system, DX system, mechanical ventilation system, clean room system, negative and positive room system, building management system and etc.
  • Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit as per code of practice.
  • Tracking & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintain maintenance checklists and schedules
  • Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
  • Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
  • Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
  • To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
  • Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.
  • To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification and/or ad-hoc works
  • Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns
Requirements
