Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking an experienced ACMV Facilities Manager to support the LEI SEA - Singapore division. You will coordinate maintenance programs, oversee multiple ACMV systems, and lead investigations into faults while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering and at least five years in ACMV or facilities management, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of ACMV/trade, FM, or project management experience.
• Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager liaising with client on all works.
• Ensure maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team efficiently.
• Oversee ACMV systems including chiller, chilled water, DX, MV, clean room, and BMS.
• Lead technical investigations for rectification works.
• Ensure daily thermal comfort within code of practice.
• Track and report maintenance work, follow up on actions, maintain checklists.
• Drive efficiency improvements and energy conservation initiatives.
• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure maintenance programs meet guidelines.
• Provide ACMV specifications for upgrades/renovations when required.
• Familiar with local codes, including ASHRAE standards.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and per procedures.
• Liaise with contractors for rectification/ad-hoc works.
• Investigate, analyze, determine root causes and report faults.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works
• To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a Team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
• Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems, including chiller system, chilled water system, DX system, mechanical ventilation system, clean room system, negative and positive room system, building management system and etc.
• Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
• Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit as per code of practice.
• Tracking & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintain maintenance checklists and schedules
• Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
• Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
• Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.
• To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
• Liaise with contractors for rectification and/or ad-hoc works
• Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively
• Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management
• Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
• Good communication skills and positive mindset
• Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized; and
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
