Job summary

ENGIE Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to assist with liaising with clients on all works and to oversee maintenance programs for ACMV systems. Lead a team of technical officers and technicians to ensure efficient maintenance of chillers, chilled water systems, DX, ventilation, clean rooms, and BMS.

Responsibilities include technical investigations, maintaining thermal comfort per standards, tracking maintenance, and driving energy conservation improvements while ensuring

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in ACMV trade or facilities management.
  • Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
  • Good communication skills and positive mindset.
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Facilities Manager / Senior Manager in liaising with client on all works.
  • Ensure maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians.
  • Oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems (chiller, chilled water, DX, ventilation, clean room, BMS).
  • Lead technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Ensure daily AC thermal comfort within acceptable limits per code of practice.
  • Track & reporting for maintenance work; maintain checklists and schedules.
  • Implement efficiency improvements on operational processes and energy conservation.
  • Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering requirements.
  • Regularly inspect existing air-conditioning systems for compliant maintenance.
  • Provide ACMV specifications for upgrades/renovations.
  • Familiar with local codes, including ASHRAE standards.
  • Ensure all works are safe and compliant with safety procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification/ad-hoc works.
  • Investigate, analyse and report root causes of breakdowns.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns.

  • Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
  • To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
  • Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management
  • Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
  • Good communication skills and positive mindset
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized; and
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
