Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate with the manufacturing team to meet Fab delivery requirements. • Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–4 years in Manufacturing Modules and Production Control (semiconductor).
• Sound understanding of line move, cycle time and delivery metrics.
• Proven track record of meeting Fab delivery KPIs such as output, cycle time, OTD, CLIP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the team to meet Fab delivery requirements.
• Set daily, weekly and monthly Line KPI targets to meet delivery and CT goals.
• Drive Manufacturing to achieve KPIs like Move, C/T, Wafer Out and CLIP with clear priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve line issues.
• Identify capability gaps and improvements vs planned capacity; manage Wafer Start to maintain line linearity.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• A team player to coordinate with the team to meet Fab delivery requirement
• Set Line performance KPI target on the daily, weekly and monthly timeframe to meet delivery and target CT
• Drive Manufacturing team to achieve the KPIs such as Move, C/T, Wafer Out and CLIP with clear priority and directions
• Co-work with cross functional teams to resolve line issues
• Capability identified gaps/improvements in Fab capability vs planned capacity requirement, Wafer Start management to achieve and maintain Line linearity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 1 to 4 years’ experience in both Manufacturing Modules and Production Control (Semiconductor industry)
• Good factory knowledge eg relationship between line move, cycle time and customer delivery
• Proven track record in meeting Fab delivery KPI (output, cycletime, OTD, CLIP management etc)
• Highly driven, motivated and resourceful
• Strong team player
• Good communication skill and good data analytic skill
• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint software
