Job summary

National Environment Agency in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to support the Beverage Container Return Scheme under the Waste Management Division. You will contribute to policy development, stakeholder engagement and compliance oversight, working in a fast-paced public sector environment.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and at least five years in Sustainability or Waste Management, with strong project management, data analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Sustainability, Environmental and/or Waste Management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Good organisation and project management abilities.
• Outgoing, mature, independent, resourceful and adaptable.
• Team player with interpersonal and writing skills.
• Meticulous with attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Administer and regulate the beverage container return scheme with compliance oversight.
• Review reports, conduct on-site audits and inspections for stakeholders.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, engagements and inquiries for timely guidance.
• Administer and process grant applications.
• Analyse information from submitted reports and maintain records.
• Develop resources for the industry and other related duties.
