Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager to accelerate customer value through adoption of the platform and to position and sell forward-deployed engagements.

You will partner with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product to deliver multi-team programs that address complex business problems. The role is strategic, cross-functional and reports to the Director, Forward Deployed Engineering.

Qualifications

• Data and AI domain knowledge with experience driving value for customers.
• Strong customer-facing experience with sales or services delivery and ability to influence at all levels.
• Proven track record of leading programs and managing delivery excellence.
• Experience estimating scope and effort for services and achieving KPIs/revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in English and working proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with customers to solve, build and sell programs delivered by the Forward Deployed Engineering Team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product to position and sell engagements.
• Develop statements of work, scope engagements, and manage delivery challenges and resource contention.
• Ensure customer success and consistently meet or exceed KPIs including CSAT and revenue targets.
