Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers and design, build, and deploy full-stack solutions on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and other stacks. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

Experience delivering production applications that combine data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user interfaces.
Familiarity with integrating AI APIs into software solutions.
Proven track record delivering tech solutions in enterprise settings with measurable outcomes.
Strong collaboration and communication across engineers, sales, product, and executives.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to customer challenges.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and design decisions to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
Design and develop applications spanning backend, frontend and integrations.
Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion through ML/AI model integration to UI.
Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and drive impact.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering for a seamless customer journey.
Contribute accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to scale impact across accounts.
