Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Employee Relations Expert to own complex ER casework across SEAA. The role centers on leadership of investigations, risk judgment, and coaching to People Partners handling sensitive matters.

You will maintain expertise in regional employment law, guide jurisdiction-specific risk, and build scalable ER guidance. Experience with external counsel and multinational environments is preferred. This hybrid role supports regional teams and adherence to governance standards.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in Employee Relations or HR with a strong ER specialization.
• Experience leading formal workplace investigations, including harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.
• Working knowledge of employment law across at least two SEAA jurisdictions.
• Experience managing external counsel relationships and legally sensitive documentation.
• Professional services, financial services, or multinational corporate environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of high-risk ER matters across SEAA jurisdictions.
• Design and run fair, trauma-informed investigation processes (scoping, interviews, findings, outcomes).
• Coordinate with external counsel where matters carry legal exposure; brief and manage outside counsel relationships.
• Draft and quality-control sensitive stakeholder communications with appropriate tone and risk.
• Build and maintain SEAA ER playbook; provide coaching and training to PBPs.
• Maintain regional ER case tracker, escalate material risk promptly with clear recommendations.
