Job summary

IT Consultancy & Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, develop and maintain software for NetZero products. You will work with a small team to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Master's in CS or EE and at least 3 years of embedded Linux experience, C/C++, and familiarity with Yocto or Buildroot. Experience with Home Assistant and ARM SoCs is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.
3 years' experience in embedded software development, preferably Linux environment with C/C++.
Experience with embedded Linux distributions (Yocto/Buildroot) and Linux kernel development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software for NetZero products with reusable code across projects.
Collaborate with a small team to deliver high-quality software within timelines.
Identify and implement the best embedded Linux distribution for all projects (Yocto/Buildroot).
Develop a Home EMS system using a common Linux OS stack and Open Source Home Assistant components.
Ensure software is scalable for global markets with initial focus on Europe.
Participate in design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software.
Stay updated with industry trends to drive improvement and innovation.
