Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an ELV/IT systems engineer to design, install, test, and maintain ELV and IT systems with a strong focus on security, CCTV, and PA.

The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and IT vendors to ensure on-time delivery across Singapore project sites. You will conduct site inspections, perform T&C, maintenance, and provide technical support to resolve installation issues while preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Building Services Engineering, or related.
• Hands-on experience in ELV systems, IT networks, security/access control, CCTV, PA, and related systems.
• Experience in installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Singapore building standards and site environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve installation issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, test reports, inspection records, and service reports.
• Ensure ELV installations comply with drawings, specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Support handover activities including system testing, documentation, and close-out of issues.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, test, commission, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and IT systems, with a strong focus on Security Systems, CCTV, Public Address (PA), and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) systems.
• Perform Testing & Commissioning (T&C), preventive maintenance, system inspection, troubleshooting, and rectification of ELV systems.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and IT vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery across project sites in Singapore.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve system and installation issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, system drawings, test reports, inspection records, and service reports.
• Ensure ELV installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements.
• Support project handover activities, including system testing, documentation, and close-out of outstanding issues.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in ELV systems, IT networks, security/access control, CCTV, Public Address (PA), and related systems.
• Experience in system installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Singapore building standards, workplace safety requirements, and construction/project site environments will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with English‑and Chinese‑speaking clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
