Job summary

ST Engineering Unmanned & Integrated Systems Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining electromechanical systems for the defence sector. You will ensure safety, functionality, and timelines while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will perform fault diagnostics, investigations, modifications, and generate technical documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Proficient in report writing and presenting to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AI and Programmable Logic Controller is an advantage.
• Able to travel overseas for up to 1 month to support exercise.
• Singaporeans only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostic checks for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical equipment (e.g., Power supplies, HVAC systems, Power Generators).
• Perform fault investigations, trial repairs, and modifications.
• Conduct engineering studies to enhance the overall reliability of systems.
• Lead the collaboration with internal teams and local industry to develop new local repair capability.
• Generate engineering studies report, design documents, schematic drawings, and other technical documentation as required.
• Ensure all designs and deliverables adhere to contractual requirements and local regulatory standards.
• Support Head of Department in secondary and administrative tasks where required.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge and experience related to Artificial Intelligence and Programmable Logic Controller is an advantage.

• Work in camp sites and comply with camp regulations.

• Able to travel overseas for up to 1 month to support exercise.

• Possess Class 3 license is an advantage.
