Job summary

ST Engineering invites applications for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a team designing, developing, and maintaining electromechanical systems within the Defence sector. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, functionality, and timely delivery of projects.

Candidates should have a strong grounding in electrical/electronic engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and solid report-writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electrical / Electronic Engineering principles.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Proficient in report writing and able to present to stakeholders at all levels.
• AI and Programmable Logic Controller knowledge is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel overseas for up to 1 month to support exercises.
• Singaporeans only and Class 3 license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostic checks for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical equipment (e.g., power supplies, HVAC systems, power generators).
• Perform fault investigations, trial repairs, and modifications.
• Conduct engineering studies to enhance system reliability.
• Lead collaboration with internal teams and local industry to develop new local repair capability.
• Generate engineering studies reports, design documents, schematic drawings, and other technical documentation as required.
• Ensure all designs and deliverables meet contractual requirements and local regulatory standards.
• Support Head of Department in secondary and administrative tasks where required.
