Job summary

ST Engineering Unmanned & Integrated Systems Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior/Mechanical Engineer to lead a team designing, developing and maintaining electromechanical systems for defence and security applications.

You will perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance while ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines; diploma holders with relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient in report writing and presentations to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Able to interact well with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostic checks for mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Conduct engineering studies and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to improve reliability.
• Lead collaboration with internal teams and local industry to develop repair capability.
• Generate engineering studies reports, design documents, drawings, and other technical docs.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulatory standards.
• Support Head of Department in administrative tasks.

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Senior / Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will lead a team of engineers todesign, develop, and maintain electromechanical systems in the Defence sector.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs meet safety standards, functionality requirements, and timelines.

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Conduct engineering studies and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to enhance the overall reliability of systems.
• Lead the collaborationwith internal teams and local industry to develop local repair capability.
• Generate engineering studies report, design documents, mechanicaldrawings,and other technical documentation as required.
• Ensure all designs and deliverables are in compliance with local regulatorystandards.
• Support Head of Departmentin secondary andadministrative tasks.

Qualities We Value

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechatronics, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering). Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered.
