Job summary

Cover Genius is seeking a Senior Director, Partnerships - China Platforms to lead a greenfield export team and own the commercial strategy for Greater China platforms expanding globally.

You will hire and direct a cross-functional team across business development, partner growth, and client solutions, serving as the face of Cover Genius in the Chinese ecosystem. Mandarin fluency and deep regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial leadership within insurance, insurtech, fintech, SaaS, or embedded tech.
• Fluent Mandarin with strong written/spoken English; senior-level communication across cultures.
• Strong track record closing large enterprise partnership deals and exceeding revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy for Chinese platforms, export and international business across Travel and eCommerce verticals.
• Identify, qualify, and close high-priority named partnership targets.
• Grow Tier 1 partnerships through multi-market expansion, product launches and deeper integration.
• Represent Cover Genius in the Chinese export ecosystem and manage cross-functional deal delivery.
