Job summary

misumi south east asia pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced digital transformation and automation specialist to partner with managers to map processes and implement AI-powered applications and RPA solutions.

You will design and maintain internal apps, lead end-to-end projects, and ensure alignment with regional DX strategies. The role requires 5+ years in business app development, automation or digital transformation, with strong Python/Node.js/PHP skills, SQL and REST API experience, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business application development, automation or digital transformation.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional digital transformation or automation projects.
• Programming experience in Python, Node.js or PHP.
• Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures).
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, UiPath or similar RPA platforms.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder).
• Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Department Managers to map end-to-end business processes, identify gaps, and recommend digital transformation initiatives.
• Design, develop and maintain internal business applications, including system integrations, APIs and backend services.
• Build AI-powered and RPA solutions using tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate or UiPath.
• Lead projects end-to-end — from opportunity identification and solution design through POC, UAT, pilot rollout and go-live support.
• Collaborate with Headquarters and regional DX teams to align local initiatives with broader group priorities.
• Provide ongoing application support, root cause analysis, documentation and user training.
