Job summary

StarHub is seeking a Lead CRM DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end DevOps strategy for CRM/OM platforms on AWS EKS. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes architecture, and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

You will drive SRE capabilities, reliability of customer journeys, and oversee incident responses while mentoring engineers and driving best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 6+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform eng; 2–3 years in leadership.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot in microservices.
• Solid understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Helm, container orchestration.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and GitOps.
• AWS cloud services and architecture.
• IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL, PostgreSQL administration and tuning.
• Python and shell scripting for automation.
• Observability with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and stakeholder management.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, production-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive DevOps strategy and operating model for CRM/OM platforms.
• Architect and govern end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Pipeline-as-Code) and GitOps (Argo CD / Flux).
• Lead trunk-based development adoption, automated testing, quality gates, and release safety mechanisms.
• Design and operate multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms (EKS/OCP).
• Govern AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Apply SRE practices by defining SLOs/SLIs, improving reliability and performance, incident management and RCA.
• Ensure end-to-end reliability of CRM and API integrations across systems.
• Establish observability and operational excellence using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and on-call tooling.
• Contribute to automation, architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and drive documentation.
