Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Demand Planning professional to lead regional forecasting and inventory optimization for the parts portfolio. You will develop 6-month demand forecasts and analyse patterns by country and partner to improve accuracy.

The role requires 3 years of planning experience, strong data analytics, and proficiency in Excel; ERP or planning system experience such as SAP or PowerBI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, parts planning, or supply chain planning.
• Strong demand forecasting, trend analysis, inventory optimisation, replenishment planning, data analytics, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP or planning system experience such as SAP or PowerBI is preferred.
• Experience in after sales, service parts, manufacturing, or related industries preferred; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regional 6-month demand forecasts using historical demand, statistical models, product lifecycle, service requirements, and market inputs.
• Analyse demand patterns and trends by country, distributor, service partner, and parts criticality to improve forecast accuracy and minimise bias.
• Manage parts planning parameters, including ABC-XYZ classification, service levels, safety stock, reorder points, and replenishment quantities.
• Optimise regional inventory investment by balancing parts availability and service levels while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Monitor planning and inventory KPIs, collaborate with supply chain and business teams, and support process improvements and other strategic projects.
