Job summary

MINDEF Singapore is seeking a professional to support defence relations and protocol services for a portfolio covering more than 10 countries. You will act as the main contact for assigned countries, assist in planning official visits, and coordinate logistics for high-level events.

The role requires strong organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities, with a capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Education in International Relations, Hospitality, Communications, Management or similar fields of study.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform liaison work handling defence relations and protocol services at the MINDEF/SAF level.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned countries in your portfolio.
• Assist in planning and organising all visits including official visits, working visits, transit visits and special programmes.
• Coordinate arrangements and logistics for high-level visits and events.
• Support the execution of official events in accordance with established protocols and requirements.
• Anticipate and respond to needs, changes and ad-hoc requests from MINDEF/SAF principals and guests to ensure events are executed with high standards of protocol and hospitality.
• Maintain cordial relationships with foreign Military Attaches, Embassy officials, and senior MINDEF/SAF personnel.
