Job summary

Databricks in Singapore seeks a Solutions Architect to translate complex data challenges into actionable technical proposals. You will collaborate with Account Executives and a Senior Solutions Architect to deliver value and drive customer success.

Expect hands-on Spark programming, cloud integration, and active participation in the Databricks community through workshops and meetups. You’ll grow into an independently operating pre-sales architect, shaping architectures and reference deployments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with consulting clients, storytelling, and aligning stakeholder interests to drive outcomes.
• Ability to independently deliver technical propositions and articulate business value to customers.
• Code in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of Big Data Analytics and exposure to proofs-of-concept with public cloud platforms.
• Experience exploring architecture and design in complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Form strong client relationships to deliver technical and business value with an Account Executive and Senior Solutions Architect.
• Lead hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with cloud ecosystems and third-party apps.
• Contribute to building the Databricks technical community through workshops and meet-ups.
• Become a Big Data Analytics advisor on architecture and design.
• Support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
• Develop technically and in pre-sales to become an independently operating Solutions Architect.
