Job summary

talent-merge pte. ltd. is seeking a senior data science leader to drive advanced ML/AI initiatives and translate business objectives into data-driven strategies. You will guide end-to-end projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior data scientists.

Responsibilities include leading data collection, modeling, deployment, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on delivering measurable business value and innovative analytical solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, maths, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, ML, AI, or analytics with leadership.
• Bilingual or proficient in Python, R, SQL and data science libraries.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of data science, ML, and AI solutions for business outcomes.
• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Lead collection, processing, cleansing, and analysis of large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop, validate, deploy, and optimize advanced models and analytics solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on data science methods and AI technologies.
• Manage end-to-end data science projects from requirements to monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, analysts, and PMs.
• Develop and present data visualizations, dashboards, and strategic recommendations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and consultants; drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor emerging AI trends to identify opportunities for impact and innovation.
