Job summary

Capco in Singapore is seeking a skilled Data Governance/Management specialist to drive enterprise data governance across financial services clients. You will define data ownership frameworks, ensure data quality, and collaborate with risk and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in data governance within finance, strong knowledge of Collibra or similar tools, and experience in data architecture and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Governance/management within financial services.
• Familiar with governance frameworks, metadata, lineage, and data quality controls.
• Experience with enterprise data governance tools (Collibra preferred).
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Data Governance and Data Management frameworks.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, CDEs, glossaries, metadata, lineage, and data quality controls.
• Strengthen Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, and Data Architecture capabilities.
• Shape governance operating models, policies, standards and controls.
• Support regulatory and risk initiatives involving data sovereignty and privacy.
• Collaborate with business, technology, risk, and compliance leaders to solve data challenges.
• Utilize platforms like Collibra, Informatica, Purview to improve data transparency and control.
• Contribute to major data transformation programmes steering data estates toward cloud and analytics.
