Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Data Governance professional to join its Singapore Data Team. You will design and implement governance, data management, and data quality programs across banking and financial services clients, helping drive regulatory compliance and value from data assets.

The role requires 6–10 years in data governance, strong stakeholder engagement with executives and regulators, and hands-on experience with Collibra, DCAM, and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in Data Governance, Data Management, or Enterprise Data Transformation programs.
• Strong FS experience across Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of DCAM, data governance operating models, control frameworks.
• Experience with Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management with executives and regulators.
• Hands-on with Collibra or similar governance tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Data Governance and Data Management frameworks for banking clients.
• Develop data dictionaries, glossaries, metadata catalogs, data lineage, and classification standards.
• Support Data Architecture, Data Quality, MDM and Metadata Management initiatives.
• Drive Data Sovereignty, Residency and regulatory compliance programs.
• Partner with business, risk, compliance, and executives to embed governance.
• Deliver data transformation initiatives using Agile methodologies and support reporting.
• Leverage governance tools to improve data transparency and quality.
