Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead global data architecture initiatives, align data strategies with business goals, and drive governance across enterprise systems.

The role requires strong programming and data modeling skills, experience with Big Data, cloud platforms, and data pipelines from OLTP to OLAP. Collaboration with multiple corporate sectors and timely delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in data architecture and technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and C++.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with Big Data technologies, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.
• Demonstrated project management and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience in developing data pipeline processes transitioning data from OLTP to OLAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects by connecting and collaborating with global teams to disseminate best practices and define global standards.
• Prepare technical documents, presentations, and reports while interfacing with various corporate sectors.
• Design and implement data management strategies that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Assess existing databases and data architectures to identify weaknesses and implement governance policies.
• Create data models and strategies for efficient data storage and organization.
• Ensure compliance with data security regulations and quality control measures.
