Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Manager to lead reliability governance and operational excellence across a portfolio of mission-critical data centres in Southeast Asia.

You will drive risk assessments, CAPA programs, and asset management with strong OEM and vendor collaboration. The role requires 8–12 years in critical infrastructure, deep SME on electrical/mechanical systems, and a proven track record in incident response and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Professional certificates such as SCEM, GMAP, CDCS are preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience managing critical infrastructure, preferably data centers.
• Demonstrated SME for electrical and mechanical infrastructure lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of local and international maintenance standards and regulations.
• Proven experience leading incident response, RCA, and CAPA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Reliability governance across the data center portfolio with risk mitigations.
• Oversee asset specs and critical parts using RPN methodology.
• Lead problem management, root cause analyses, and CAPAs.
• Monitor energy and water performance, apply PDCA for improvements.
• Advance maintenance strategies: preventive, predictive, condition-based.
• Provide engineering support for regulatory, design, and operational needs.
• Manage lifecycle, obsolescence, and asset refresh programs.
• Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor site teams and build regional capability.
