Senior Reliability Lead – Data Center Operations

Job summary

DayOne is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead the reliability program for its data centre portfolio in the region. You will provide technical leadership, governance, and execution oversight to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and scalable operations across sites.

Responsibilities include driving FMEA-based risk assessments, CAPA, incident reviews, and maintaining KEDB, with collaboration across OEMs and stakeholders. 8–12 years of DC experience and travel across Southeast Asia are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• SCEM, GMAP, CDCS or related certificates preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience managing critical infrastructure and equipment in data centers.
• Demonstrated experience as a Technical SME responsible for electrical and mechanical infrastructure lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reliability governance across the data centre portfolio and maintain a systemic risk register with mitigation measures.
• Consolidate system specifications and critical parts following risk-prioritization methodology.
• Lead root cause analyses, CAPA, and maintain the Known Error Database (KEDB) for recurring issues.
• Monitor energy and water performance applying ISO 50001, using PDCA for continuous improvement.
• Advance maintenance governance with preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Support operations with technical issue resolution, regulatory and design requirements.
