Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Customer Operations Engineer to deliver complex customer and operational activities in a mission-critical data center environment. You’ll provide technical leadership for installations, cross-connects, troubleshooting, and escalation, while driving process improvements and ensuring high-quality service.

In this role you will manage end-to-end operational tasks, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical certification preferred.
• 4–6 years in data center operations or related technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex rack-and-stack deployments and customer equipment installations.
• Interpret installation plans and deployment documentation for successful implementation.
• Coordinate advanced customer infrastructure installations and capacity management.
• Perform cross-connect installations, modifications, terminations, and testing.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support incident resolution with internal teams.
