Job summary

Equinix, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Data Center Customer Operations Technician to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of customer infrastructure within our Singapore data center.

You will participate in queue management, cross-connects, and collaboration with operations and security teams, with opportunities to learn advanced data center concepts and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with IT exposure.
• Internship in a data center or similar space.
• Familiarity with cabling and data center environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Queue Management / Reporting responsibilities including reviewing work orders and meeting commitment times.
• Installations such as rack and stack of customer equipment and semi-routine installations.
• Cross-Connect responsibilities including installs, terminations, and testing under supervision.
• Testing / Troubleshooting support for standard and non-standard operating testing under supervision.
• Stakeholder Partnership with operations and security teams for backup and coverage.
• Customer Management to ensure high levels of service and adherence to deployment timelines.
