Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) seeks a senior data & analytics leader to drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platforms that support advanced analytics and AI initiatives. You will own the full SDLC for data and analytics solutions across the enterprise.

You will translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable designs, lead data governance efforts, and partner with stakeholders to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery in a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• End-to-end delivery of enterprise data and analytics solutions.
• Translate requirements into scalable solution designs for data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder communication to business and senior leadership.
• Proficient in Agile and iterative delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery for data and analytics across the full SDLC.
• Analyze business and regulatory requirements and translate them into scalable designs & provide estimations.
• Communicate complex technical and architectural concepts to business and senior stakeholders.
• Review and approve test strategies, functional test cases, and data validation approaches.
• Manage risks and issues related to scope, data quality, regulatory commitments, and delivery timelines.
• Participate in product and platform evaluations (RFPs, PoCs) for data, analytics, and AI tooling.
• Partner with production support to conduct root cause analysis and preventive controls.
• Drive productivity, efficiency & quality improvements across delivery and operations.
• Lead innovation and modernization initiatives including data discovery, governance, and AI enablement.
• Design data architectures supporting NLP and AI-driven analytics, including ingestion, curation, and governance of unstructured data within Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI design governance, including explainability, lineage, confidence thresholds, and regulatory acceptability of AI-assisted insights.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
