Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the Quick Commerce & Partnerships Analytics team to drive analytics across 16 markets. You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver actionable insights using SQL, Python and visualization tools.

You will build robust measurement frameworks, lead complex SQL models in BigQuery, and develop dashboards in Looker or Tableau. Mentor junior analysts and champion AI-enabled workflows to automate anomaly detection and accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with a strong focus on SQL, Python, data modeling, and data visualization.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Quick Commerce, Operations, Supply Chain, or Commercial teams (online or offline retail).
• Proficiency with advanced SQL (BigQuery or similar DWH) and experience in Looker or Tableau; dbt/Airflow a plus.
• Solid background in statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience leading or mentoring other analysts and fostering collaboration.
• Strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analytical methodologies including causal impact modeling and measuring incremental ROI on quick commerce investments.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand objectives, align analytics solutions, and present insights.
• Develop complex SQL models and transform massive datasets into actionable insights using tools like BigQuery and dbt.
• Design and build dashboards and data assets in Looker/Tableau to support decision-making.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices within the team.
• Identify and implement AI-powered analytics solutions and automation to enhance analytics workflows.
