Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the Quick Commerce & Partnerships Analytics team to impact strategy across 16 markets with actionable insights.

You'll partner with senior stakeholders, mentor junior analysts, and leverage AI to advance quick commerce analytics, including building robust data models and user-friendly dashboards using Looker/Tableau and BigQuery. This role demands strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with focus on SQL, Python, data modeling, and data visualization.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Quick Commerce, Operations, Supply Chain, or Commercial teams.
• Proficiency with advanced SQL (BigQuery preferred) and experience with Looker/Tableau; dbt/Airflow a plus.
• Solid background in statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience mentoring other analysts and fostering collaboration.
• Strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects and deliver high-impact results.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analytical methodologies including causal impact modeling and ROI measurement for quick commerce investments.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align analytics solutions with strategic objectives and present insights effectively.
• Develop and transform large datasets into actionable insights using SQL, Python, BigQuery and dbt.
• Design dashboards and data assets (Looker/Tableau) to facilitate decision-making for leaders.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Identify and implement AI-powered analytics and automation, including anomaly detection and agentic workflows.
