Job summary

DBS is seeking an experienced VP/SVP Crypto Trader for its Digital Asset Trading desk in Singapore. You will lead desk alpha and build the crypto derivatives franchise, focusing on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana options, while managing risk and advancing pricing models.

The role requires 5+ years in options trading with crypto and strong quantitative skills, plus collaboration with quant/tech teams to enhance trading analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of options trading experience with crypto focus.
• Strong understanding of option pricing, volatility surfaces, and risk management.
• Familiarity with crypto market structure including perpetual futures, DEXs, and wallets.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen desk trading by identifying volatility and skew opportunities across maturities and instruments on trading options.
• Design and implement trading strategies, including delta-hedging, gamma scalping, and calendar spreads.
• Monitor and manage portfolio risk including Greeks, tail risks, and implied vs realized volatilities.
• Collaborate with quant and tech teams to improve pricing models, backtesting infrastructure, and execution tools.
• Collaborate with sales team to build franchise and achieve revenue targets.
• Support structuring team in designing bespoke crypto-linked products and payoffs.
• Analyze market trends, news, and blockchain data to drive informed decisions.
• Support day-to-day desk operations.
