Job summary

UBS in Singapore seeks a Crypto & eFX Trader to price and hedge Digital Asset, FX, and related products on electronic channels. You will manage weekend risk, collaborate across sales, trading and tech, and contribute to expanding UBS market footprint in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

The role requires prior DA trading experience, strong analytics, and the ability to work weekends while maintaining risk controls and client focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Digital Asset trading or DA native environments.
• Understanding of DA landscape and market participants.
• Willingness to work on weekends and manage weekend risk.
• Knowledge of settlement procedures for digital assets.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong communication.
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change.
• Risk awareness and ability to challenge status quo.
• Ability to build client networks with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and using visualization tools.
• Knowledge or interest in Electronic Trading.
• Experience with Python, JupyterHub, MATLAB, Q, Kx.

Responsibilities

• Be at the forefront of UBS entering the Digital Asset space.
• Manage risk and workflows of 24/7 Digital Asset offering in Singapore on weekends.
• Coordinate resolution of infrequent outages with Global Service Delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and tech to define future product requirements.
• Handle risks from electronic market making in FX, precious metals, and NDFs.
• Price and hedge, with possible human intervention during outages or events.
• Fine-tune the system and work with sales, quant trading, and support to improve performance.
• Join Sales in client meetings to gather information and identify opportunities.
• Work with Quant Traders and Quant Development on pricing and hedging.
• Develop understanding of FX market microstructure and exchange-side products.
• Develop and follow regulations, compliance policies, and desk limits.
