Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore seeks an Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead risk assessment across portfolios and approve credit limits for major units. You will review submissions, provide guidance on underwriting standards, and escalate issues to management as market dynamics shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university.
• 15 years of relevant credit experience with sovereigns/banks/NBFIs.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan structures and treasury products.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the Primary Credit Approving Officer responsible for pro-active risk management for portfolio.
• Assess and approve credit limits during propositions, renewals and requests from Business Units.
• Review annual review papers and provide comments to enhance credit submissions.
• Pro-active management of credit portfolio amid evolving market dynamics and escalate concerns.
