Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a seasoned professional for Global Corporate Banking with extensive credit risk experience. You will review and approve complex credit proposals, identify stressed accounts, and partner with risk management to enhance credit policy and models across OCBC footprint.

The role requires 20+ years in banking credit across Real Estate, project and corporate lending, with strong communication and regional risk understanding.

Qualifications

• Banking and credit experience of at least 20yrs+ across Real Estate, PF, Corporate lending and matching geographies to OCBC footprint.
• Strong skills in credit risk evaluation, structuring and risk management.
• Strong understanding of the global corporate banking business.
• Good knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve credit proposals for the Global Corporate Banking portfolio across OCBC footprint markets.
• Identify early warning signals and manage stressed accounts to minimize impairment provisions.
• Identify emerging risks and initiate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare portfolio reports for senior management highlighting concerns and opportunities.
• Collaborate on credit policy, risk rating models and credit framework with Group Risk Management.
• Contribute to divisional and cross-functional projects related to credit risk and Basel.
