Job summary

OCBC invites a seasoned credit risk leader to join its risk management team in Singapore. You will drive proactive risk management across portfolios, assess credit limits, and review submissions to uphold the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with global units to structure facilities, conduct stress tests, and influence policy changes. A strong background in Sovereigns/Banks/NBFIs and deep credit analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree from a recognized university.
• 15+ years of relevant credit experience with Sovereigns/Banks/NBFIs focus.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and loan structures.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the Primary Credit Approving Officer responsible for proactive risk management of the portfolio.
• Assess and approve credit limits for proposals, renewals, and transactions from BUs.
• Review annual credit submissions and suggest underwriting standards as needed.
• Perform regular stress tests and portfolio reviews to monitor risk.
• Ensure transactions meet OCBC’s risk policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to structure credit facilities mitigating credit risk.
