Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership in Singapore is assisting a growing Asian-based bank in their search for a Credit Analyst. The role requires hands-on credit writing, strong knowledge of loans and trade finance, and Mandarin proficiency to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients.

You will conduct credit analysis for Corporate Banking clients, prepare financial models and reports, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to review forecasts for credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline from a recognised University.
• 7 to 12 years’ relevant credit analysis experience within the Corporate Banking sector.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence and persuade, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Conducts credit analysis for the Bank’s Corporate Banking clients.
• Experienced in financial analysis past and current financial statements and performances.
• Provide financial models and projections based on reasonable assumptions.
• Reports preparation and projections based on the analysis for credit decision making.
