Job summary

Bank of China in Singapore seeks an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst to perform credit analysis for corporate clients, assess compliance with regulations and bank policy, and identify key risk points. You will propose risk controls and rate client credit, contributing to risk management decisions.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, bilingual English/Chinese, and strong financial analysis skills. CFA/FRM/ACCA preferred. Experience in commodity/trade finance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in finance, economics, accounting or related majors.
• Skilled in financial statements analysis methods and understand bank related credit facilities.
• More than 3 years of relevant work experience; credit analysis of corporate clients preferred.
• CFA, FRM and ACCA certifications preferred.
• Strong financial and credit risk analysis and management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, responsibility and teamwork.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese required to liaise with Chinese counterparts from Head Office.
• Experience in Commodity Finance and Trade Finance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for corporate customers and assess regulatory/compliance with bank policies.
• Identify main risk points and propose risk control measures.
• Determine group overall credit risk and conduct client credit rating.
• Provide opinions for credit files to pre-trial committee and perform secretary duties as required.
• Conduct industry research and revise approval guidelines.
• Monitor commitments and advise on risk control for clients with early warning signals.
• Complete other work arrangements by the department.
