Job summary

EMPOWER PARTNERS SEARCH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Credit Analysis team. The role focuses on independent credit assessment within a standalone function, collaborating with Corporate Banking and Credit Risk teams.

You will analyse financials, develop models and reports to support lending decisions, and engage with Mandarin-speaking counterparts as needed. A strong background in banking credit analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' credit analysis experience within banking.
• Strong financial statement analysis, accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills.
• Experience covering Middle Market, Financial Institutions or General Corporate clients preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin, required for regular communication with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, cash flows and creditworthiness of corporate borrowers.
• Prepare financial models, projections and credit assessment reports to support credit decisions.
• Conduct industry and sector analysis across corporate and financial institution clients.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk stakeholders on credit assessments and financial forecasts.
• Provide objective credit analysis to support sound lending decisions.
