Job summary

redfish solutions ltd is looking to appoint a MEP Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join its Singapore team. The role covers diverse high-profile projects across South East Asia, spanning pre-contract and post-contract cost management.

You will develop your career in a collaborative consultancy environment, delivering cost management services across the full project lifecycle and liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years, with 8+ years being highly desirable.
• Consultancy experience in cost management/quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of both pre-contract and post-contract services.
• Experience using CostX is highly desirable.
• MRICS qualified or currently working towards chartership is preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Due to visa restrictions applicants must have a valid residency in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost management services throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.
• Undertake tender documentation, tender analysis and procurement advice.
• Manage valuations, payment applications and cost reporting.
• Assess and negotiate variations and change control.
• Prepare final accounts and support project close-out.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of commercial and contractual advice.
