Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead pre-contract cost management efforts, supervise tender and bid analysis, and drive value for clients across major developments. You will mentor teams, oversee cost reporting, and ensure robust change control throughout projects.

You will work in a dynamic, globally connected consultancy, shaping budgets, estimates, and final accounts while fostering client relationships and delivering best-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-contract cost management and budget control.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Chartered or on the path to chartership; support available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation to reporting.
• Manage change management: identify, analyze, approve, implement changes.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in final accounts, handle claims for best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variances.
